| Simon Thomas - Partner
Simon is the Family Team Leader heading up a team of experienced fee earners and support staff. He joined Leeds Day in June 2004 and became a Partner in April 2006. Simon has considerable experience in Family Law and has been awarded specialist accreditation status from Resolution (formerly the Solicitors’ Family Law Association). He deals with all aspects of family law; in particular private law children matters and finances following the breakdown of a marriage or civil partnership and child care.
Simon makes every effort to adopt a sensitive approach in what is often a traumatic experience for those concerned whilst looking for the best practical solution. He is also Parliamentary Liaison Officer for the Cambridgeshire and District Law Society and committee member and has written several articles for the local press, Family Law Journal and local Law Society newsletter.
