| Bruce Elam - Partner
Bruce was Articled in The Temple, London, 4 January 1965 and admitted as a Solicitor in November 1970. He opened the St. Neots branch of the firm in July 1971 and has been there ever since.
Bruce became a Partner in April 1974 and is still going strong, having been involved in management in some shape or form for years and as Managing Partner from 1990 to 1994. He is now Senior Partner and head of Private Client Team. Bruce is a member of the firm's Commercial Business Team specialising in most aspects of commercial property. He believes strongly in independence of staff and fee earners and dislikes Aged Debt and bureaucracy.
Bruce lives in St. Neots and has been a member of the Rotary Club of St. Neots since 1988; President in the Club's Diamond Jubilee Year of 2005. He is a trustee of St. Neots Museum, ex-Round Tabler and current 41 Club member.
His sporting interests range from being a bandit golfer, avid cricket follower and, when the body was willing, played hockey for Tulse Hill, Cambridge City, Cambridgeshire Nomads, St. Neots and Cambridgeshire. Bruce completed the London Marathon in 1982. Recreation now reduced to walking. Daughter, Juliette, is a corporate fundraising account manager with The Breast Cancer campaign London and son, Phillip, is a Paralegal in Nottingham.
