| Bob Dewdney - Partner
Educated at a grammar school founded by Henry VIII, Bob's entry into the legal profession was via the less usual disciplines of Maths, Physics and Chemistry. University education was at Birmingham where Bob was privileged to attend the lectures and seminars given by lecturers such as Professor Sir Gordon Borrie (Contract), Professor Robert Pennington (Company) and Bryn Perrin (Employment). After six months hard labour at Lancaster Gate Bob passed the final examinations obtaining a distinction in the Commercial Law paper.
The Birmingham tradition has been maintained by Bob's daughter who is also a Birmingham graduate and is now working at The Treasury. Bob’s son is studying Naval Architecture at Southampton University.
Now married to Heather (his secretary for more than twenty years) Bob specializes in Property and business matters, with a degree of emphasis on Licensed Premises. He takes a very active role in the financial management of the Partnership and development of the practice as a whole. He is currently head of the Domestic Property Team and a regular contributor to seminars given by the Leeds Day Commercial Team to all of the firm's clientele.
When away from his desk, Bob is keen on nearly all water sports, motorcycles as much as possible, listens to music and has even been known to sing!
